Can i keep my Digital Camera with Rechargeable Battery Inside when camera not in use?
I am using Samsung D760 Digital Camera. Some times battery become dry if battery inside the camera when camera not in use i want to know what is the reason. Please tell me if you know. Thanks.
The internal circuits consume a little power when not in use. For example if your camera has date and time functions then it’ll consume a little battery even when turned off to keep the clock ticking.
If you aren’t using your camera for a long time, its better not to leave the batteries inside.
You haven’t mentioned which type of rechargeable battery you use.
Its normal for NiMH rechargeable batteries to self discharge in about two weeks when not in use.
