what is the best reasonably priced digital camera in your opinion. i want the equipment to print the pics too?
The Canon A570 IS is in my opinion one of the most reasonably priced camera for the features on the market. About $170 gets you 7mp, a 4x zoom and image stabilization.
If you want to print, you have two options:
1) a photo printer like the Epson PictureMate or Canon Selphy, either of which can print with or without a computer
2) a printer hooked up to your computer, loaded with photo quality paper.
For 1) either printer will work just fine. In fact, I have both of them, but I like the Canon Selphy because it is more portable (even though the Epson has a handle) by being smaller. The prints are about of equal quality.
I got the Canon because I couldn’t resist the price–only $49 on sale.
