Looking to buy a digital cameras? Trying to find out which is the best digital camera to purchase? Well, in this posting, we’ll discuss the best digital cameras of 2010 and find out the pros and cons of every one.
You’ll find quite a lot of factors you have to consider when you’re buying a digital camera. These include but aren’t restricted to the brand, the price, the features, the build, the customer reviews, etc. Herein, I’m putting together a long list of the best digital cameras according to me. To make it in this list, a digital camera needs to be great because I’m somebody who is pleased by just almost every other technology wonder! It has to be really, really special to get a mention.
So, let’s begin…
Nikon D7000 – Nikon is appropriate up there with Canon when it comes to making digital cameras, in my opinion. This one is a testament to their benchmarks. A truly spectacular camera with a great viewfinder; the Nikon D70000 has been loved by everyone. It’s slightly on the expensive side but again, the cost is cent percent justified.
It is a 16.2 Megapixel camera and in addition it enables you to take stunning videos completely HD (1080P). There are so many features that it’ll fill up more than a few pages. If you’re a professional photographer, this is for you. If you’re not a professional photographer, but someone who really wants to take beautiful pictures, this is for you.
You’ll know what I’m talking about once you hold this camera in your hand. Its a complete masterpiece – the buttons, switches, controllers have been positioned at the best locations which makes it easier to use. The image quality is nothing less than amazing. What’s even better is that this camera is one of the few that you can take with you when traveling. It is one of the lighter ones. I researched for this camera’s online reviews and it seems like most people are in agreement with me. It gets an average of 4.5 stars.
Canon EOSD 5D – This camera comes a close second. Actually, I’d say there’s a tie between the first and the second. This is an equally good camera and if you prefer the Canon brand, this is for you. It is a bit limited in its video capabilities though so if you’re high on video, this isn’t the camera for you. Other than that, the image quality is awesome and you’d love it, I’m sure. It is costlier than the Nikon’s therefore if your budget is limited, go for the Nikon.
This is 12.8 MP with a 2.5 inch LCD digital screen. One con for me was it didn’t support as a drive after i hooked up it to my Mac. I was able to transfer my work eventually however, I had to go through an entirely distinct (and painstakingly tough!) route.
For image quality & overall features, I’d give this camera a 4 start. For all the other things mentioned above, including the price, I give it a 3 star.
Nikon Coolpix S8100 – If you’re shopping on a seriously restricted budget, this is actually the camera for you. Though it’s nowhere close to the quality of the two I’ve mentioned above, you get what you spend on. In this instance, though, you get far more than what you pay for. The cost is very low so when you keep that in mind, the standard and all the other features are incredibly good.
I’m not too keen on the body design, though. The controls are placed in clumsy locations and also you find yourself doing stuff you didn’t set out to! All in all, this digital camera gets a 2.5 star based on the characteristics as well as the cost.
