Would this camcorder be decent for making youtube videos?
im focused on mainly clarity, besides sound.
The camera im looking at for christmas is a DCR-HC28 MiniDV Handycam® Camcorder made by Sony.
The films i make now its off of a digital camera, to be more precise a Canon PowerShot A95 5MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom, and using the video editing with “Windows Movie Maker”.

with the DCR-HC28 MiniDV Handycam® Camcorder im almost guarenteed i will get better footage.
so anybody with ANY experience on camcorders please answer!

If its only for youtube then your unit is actually a good one. Depending on the distance of your subject and also to the photographer( the one who will shoot). That Sony Camcorder is already great as well as the other one.
