Trouble transferring video from camera to PC?
We recently purchased a new camera, a Sony Cyber-shot (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sony+-+Cyber-shot+9.1-Megapixel+Digital+Camera+-+Black/9327105.p?id=1218085897854&skuId=9327105).
I can get pictures on the computer with no problem (I use the Windows Camera and Scanner Wiard) but for some reason, I cannot get the video off the camera onto the computer. This is extremly bothersome, and we want to delete the old stuff but cannot until we get the videos on the PC.
I’ve used the windows wizard with several other cameras without a problem, this is the first I’ve encountered, and I’m not sure how to go about transferring the video from our camera to the PC.

Get a card reader, (USB Card Reader).
It will “appear” to the computer as a disk drive. And you can read / write / format and whatever you want to do to one without having to install any driver (which is a piece of software).
The wizard doesn’t transfer the video by the way, only photos.
