The 14.1-megapixel Lumix DMC-FZ40 has a 25mm wide-angle 24x optical zoom f/2.8-5.2 lens with about twice the capturing area of a regular 35mm lens. This offers you brilliant scope and scale for creative composition. You could engage the powerful 24x optical zoom to tremendous effect in both stills and movies. The extra optical zoom uses the centre part of the CCD to extend this 24x zoom ratio to a great 50.6x zoom at a resolution of 3-megapixel or less in stills.
Sonic Speed Auto Focus
