my digital camera is a 3.2 megapixel, what is the highest xd card it will take?
You want more details. My camera is an olympus and its about 4-5 years old. I’ve started out trying a 2 gb xd card, then a 1 gb card, then today a 512 card and the camera won’t except any of them. I was told that it’s because of how old the camera is and that these cards all have to much mermory for the camera to handle.
Its hard to know without knowing the make and model. In general terms, though, any Olympus or Fuji using xD cards should be able to use cards up to 512 MB. However, at the time the 3.2MP cameras were being produced, 256MB cards were the largest available, and these may be listed in the specification as the highest capacity card the camera can use. If you want to err on the side of caution, stick to 256MB.
PS A 3.2MP may not be the latest and greatest, but if you are not doing big enlargements, are perfectly satisfactory cameras. Ignore the nay-sayers!
