I would as with to update and say that with spring coming on sufficient reason for more things to go out together with take pictures off, i have gotten to try the features i was having difficulty with before. When taking pictures of close-up of flowers and even using the highest button for flower/macro, it would in no way unless i was back farther in addition to used zoom. sometimes i did get 1 picture in before it will quit and fog out. All this while it showed the flower symbol even now active. thinking i was blocking the light or something else entirely. Tried to do birds, same factor, today it would be there but to look at tried to take the picture it is refocus on the woods in the setting. finally i went into scenes, switched to flower/macro there and could take the birds at the feeders away from window while i was inside without the need of problem using the zoom. even back sitting within the chair. will post a photo after i get time to upload it.

I JUST pre ordered the Kodak EasyShare Max Z990 12.0 MP Digital Camera through Kodak. received it 2, 3 weeks ago. I have taken many shots but only 2 videos. I really like the grade of the pictures. I have owned a film slr camera for years and went digital a few rice with a small point and throw that took floppies. and then bought a kodak easyshare point and shoot i always still use both cameras. i such as both. the Kodak i take on trips – it can do have video but the t/w upon it was very jerky for pictures or possibly video. and when i pre ordered the kodak max i was concerned with this feature. it is okay. I simply felt that the video did not the 2 times i tried it stay on focus or follow in focus just what i was taping. the smaller kodak camera did a better job. i did accidently take pictures while i was video taping. i ended up being trying to stop it like we’d the other kodak camera. those photos were great. very sharp. i kept one- of your TV taped program even. the pictures may very well taken are great. they are excellent and when the camera came we were haveing those storms undergo up here. high winds. i surely could get it to lock on while using partial press then full press with the picture take. i did have to lean with something or the camera would fog out like my computer would in windows 7 and never take the picture. but when this did, they were good. the camera is fussier going to am used to. I have looked through the other settings and tried several people. I was expecting more out from the dramactic color setting. and unless i use the photobooth or panorama pictures- i probably won’t use those two. i am still waiting to test the video out on the horses for to see how it handles. my review is more within the pictures then the video. i don’t feel i took enough video to be familiar with this camera yet.
i have been told when i aquired my film slr and read in the process – many years ago- that it will require alot of film to get just a couple of good or great shots and too not give up especially when you are serious. and the good thing about digital is how the pictures are right there and is able to see and edit right away. i did not get many pictures right out of the batteries and it does take a while to charge. i did buy another set 2300 that are in these days.
i am still figuring out the settings and plan on trying them all out soon. me like the burst setting. For fowls and horses. i have not obtained much luck with low light illustrations or photos, like i mentioned ealier, it would fog out like my computer not take any pictures. i still should try the manual setting and iso or exposure compensation like i had done with the other kodak. mostly may very well used auto on program or intelligent capture. with a few burst or longer close flower mode.
Sorry if this is not going to help and great if this does. i like the fact that i don’t need to deal with changing lenses and yet have great zoom. not so caring to the wide angle. living on a farm alot of that time period we take photos of the calves and it is hard to get close to a number of them.
