I Love this photographic camera
I have owned Kodak cameras every one of my life except to get a minolta 35mm that my parents set it up for a graduation gift rice. I love Kodak’s top quality. I purchased this camera to replace my Kodak Z8612IS that has been stolen. I loved that photographic camera also except it didn’t use a view finder. So once i had to replace it I thought i would upgrade to the Z981 considering the view finder and 26X the lens quality. This camera is WONDERFUL. I attend many racing events and it’s also difficult to take pictures of action-packed cars. With this camera concerning the opition of taking 8 pictures per second or 9 if the shutter button is pressed. Or I can just video some laps and make still pictures through the video right on this camera.
With most of this pictures being outside aquiring a view finder is a genuine plus and it preserves battery life. LED screens don’t excel in the bright sunshine. The pictures on that LED are visable outside also to some degree in primary bright sun.
I was at the Nascar night race in Bristol TN this season and had seats technique up just under the actual sky box. I managed to zoom to another side of the course and read the writing about the pit stalls. I even took video when using the 26X zoom and cut pictures traditional hunting had. At the highest zoom one does have to hold the camera steady but it will automaticaly adjust the focus if you ever move. I tend to not be steady while i take pictures but this will not be a problem with the following camera. I haven’t ingested any blurs.
It included 4 rechargeable AA batteries along with the charger. They take with regards to 18 hours to demand. I purchased 4 further. I found that the particular battery life is really long. Less if you take loads of video. The camera requires HD videos. I found that once i tried to download the pictures and video that will my computer it wouldn’t process my 2. 0 USB. i aquired a 4. 0 conductor for $3. 99 and pluged it into that and it also downloads fine. I also had your videos freeze up on the computer. I had some trouble with these things because I have an older computer. If you use a newer computer you needs no problem. Videos play great around the camera.

There are two flaws that i have found with the following camera. The battery door is difficult to close as well as the flap that closes covering the memory card has an extremely thin piece of rubber attaching it for the camera. It appears relatively fragile. It may be stronger than it looks. I use caution when opening it. It weighs a bit more than my last Kodak however is not by much. I can still store it steady enough for extended time. These are items i always can live with as a consequence of how great this camera works. For the price this camera has as numerous if not more features than the usual $700 camera and takes superior pictures. I love may Kodak. I would recommend it to anyone.
